Devin Breithaupt

Hello.  I am Devin Breithaupt.  I perform as a solo act, duo, trio or as a full band for private parties, corporate events, weddings, clubs, festivals and anywhere that I am needed.  I love to travel and I want to bring the best in musical entertainment to your venue or event.

Who is Devin?  The son of two musical families coming together in love is probably the best answer I could give.  I grew up around music and it's always been a part of my life.  I've always loved playing instruments, singing, dancing, and entertaining.  My family taught me to believe in your dreams and they can happen.  I got to experience this recently with my daughter.  I took her to see her favorite national touring act at a well-known concert arena.  I told her I would be playing on that stage one day.  Three months later (to the day) I was performing on that stage for the first time in my career. 

My father bought me a guitar when I was four years old.  He taught me how to play my favorite song (Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star) and I was hooked.  From there I was self-taught and loved to jam with other musicians.  I joined my first band at 13 and, even though we never left the garage, I realized my passion for performing.  By the time I graduated high school I was playing in a band as lead guitarist in some of the best venues in Baltimore.  My life took me to Miami for a while and I was exposed to diverse music from around the world.  I learned to perform in spanish and became bilingual.  I have played music in the Caribbean, South America, Central America and, of course, all over the USA!  I love performing for crowds of all ages and I've learned so many beautiful lessons from music.
